Our Doctrinal Statement
Learn a Bit About Our Church and Congregation

We Believe.. That there is one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:6: Matthew 3:16-17).

That Jesus Christ is the second person of the godhead; that He was born of a virgin, was without sin, atoned for our sins through His shed blood, bodily rose from the tomb, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and that He will one day return to claim His bride, the Church (Luke 1:35: l Timothy 2:5-6; John 14:1-3).

That the Bible is the inspired (God -breathed) word of God and our standard for life and conduct ( ll Timothy 3:16:17).

That man, although created in God's image, is a sinner and eternally lost apart from Christ's vicarious atoning sacrifice at Calvary (Genesis 3; Romans 3:23).

That salvation is a free gift offered to us at an incredible price, the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:22 John 3:16).

That the baptism in the Holy Spirit is an act subsequent to regeneration: that its purpose is to empower believers to be His Spirit-filled witnesses on earth (Matthew 2:11; Acts 15; Acts 1:8).

That spiritual gifts are "for today" and operate in the supernatural realm as grace gifts ("charismata") ( l Corinthians 12).

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
